Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Nature of Services
KP RegTech provides professional and knowledge-based services, including but not limited to:
- Regulatory registrations
- Compliance support and advisory
- Annual audits
- Ongoing compliance and outsourcing services
Such services involve time-based effort, regulatory planning, documentation, and professional judgment, and therefore do not qualify as goods or instant-delivery services.
2. General No-Refund Principle
Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing:
- Payments once made are non-refundable
- Fees are charged towards professional time, expertise, and resources deployed
- Refunds are not guaranteed merely because a regulatory approval, registration, or outcome is delayed, rejected, or modified by an authority
3. Cancellation by Client
3.1 Before Commencement of Work
If a written cancellation request is received before work has commenced, KP RegTech may, at its discretion:
- Refund the amount after deducting administrative and processing charges, or
- Retain the amount as engagement reservation fees
The determination of "commencement of work" shall be at the sole discretion of KP RegTech.
3.2 After Commencement of Work
If cancellation is requested after work has commenced:
- No refund shall be provided
- Any pending work may be discontinued at KP RegTech's discretion
4. Refund Eligibility (Limited Circumstances)
Refunds, if any, may be considered only in the following limited situations:
- Duplicate payment made due to technical error
- Payment made for a service that is demonstrably not deliverable due to legal or regulatory impossibility, prior to commencement
Any refund approved will be processed after deducting applicable charges.
5. Regulatory Decisions Beyond Our Control
KP RegTech shall not be responsible for:
- Rejection, delay, or additional requirements imposed by SEBI or any other authority
- Changes in law, circulars, or regulatory interpretation
- Client's failure to provide accurate or timely information
No refund shall be granted on these grounds.
6. Subscription / Retainer-Based Services
For ongoing compliance or retainer services:
- Fees paid for a particular period are non-refundable once the period has commenced
- Early termination does not entitle the client to a pro-rata refund unless expressly agreed in writing
7. Processing of Approved Refunds
Where a refund is approved:
- Refunds will be processed within 7–10 working days
- Amounts will be credited to the original mode of payment
- Taxes and statutory levies, if any, shall not be refunded unless required by law
8. Chargebacks and Disputes
Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first notifying KP RegTech may be treated as a breach of contractual terms. We encourage clients to contact us directly for resolution.
9. Policy Modifications
KP RegTech reserves the right to amend this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be effective upon publication on the Website.
